How a quote is built
- Ingest. Pasted text 10, web page 20, YouTube 30, PDF 40 — the work to get words onto the desk.
- Source length. 10 credits per 2,000 words, after we read it (capped at 8,000).
- Runtime. Under 5 min is 50, 5–10 is 90, 10–15 is 160 — script and voices scale with tape time.
One credit is one cent. A typical 5–10 minute link is 120–150 credits ($1.20–$1.50). We hold the high end, then settle once the source length is known.
The $20 month stays in Clerk Billing. Top-ups and the pack open Stripe Checkout, then we write the new token count onto your Clerk user metadata. Back to the studio.
